Truck Towing Modifications
Bolt-on hitches are available for most trucks. This Draw-Tite kit can be installed on a 1999 Chevy Silverado with ordinary handtools. It’s rated to have a maximum towing capacity of 5,000 pounds (Class III). A hitch with a removable drawbar is often called a receiver hitch.
